I really liked the characters, because of how real and alive they seem, even those that are not central to the book. I liked the setting a lot, having spent a great deal of this year at home not being able to travel, I transported myself to the southern Italy and to the adventures of italian summer. I liked that the book is not only a melodrama but also has good humor and acute observations about Italian culture and life.
