I went in thinking this was an M/M contemporary romance about second chances. But I was so wrong about this book. It is so much more than just a second chance romance. I would do the talented writer a disservice and in doing so also to the story of Fra and Eric to just categorize it as a simple M/M contemporary romance in beautiful Milan. It's a second chance story but not only love gets a second chance, also the lives of the characters get second chances. This book hits home for me as some things in the story I recognise from my childhood. Something I, myself went through. The writer did a superb job with the mental health subject in this story. She handled the topic with such respect that I have to stand and applaud her. If I could give more start to this story I would, I would give it all the start if I could. Thank you Elen for writing the way you do.
